Gulp Hablo is the dream of three brothers, Francisco, Javier and Luis Parra. The hope was to celebrate their home of La Mancha by raising organically and biodynamically grown grapes. The winemaker behind Friend and Farmer and Hand Work is the same person making Gulp/Hablo.
The typical Spanish blend of Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc is given a twist being made into an orange wine via a week of maceration on the skins. Slightly funky, medium bodied, dry, medium-high acidity, light tannin, and slightly cloudy as it's unfined and unfiltered.
The vibrant palate features orange rind, tea, preserved apricots, mineral, white flowers, grapefruit, and slight herbaceous notes. Match with olives or lightly salted almonds
